Directions for Use:

• Broadcast slowly over the water surface of the swimming pool or spa. It is very soluble and the pool may be used within five minutes.
• If the dosage is being raised to prevent pH bounce, remember that the equilibrium reactions between pH and alkalinity are slow and it might take 2 to 4 hours for the pH to reach steady state.

Dosage:

1.5 lbs per 10,000 gallons to raise the alkalinity 10 ppm.

Additional Notes:

The total alkalinity should be maintained between 60 – 120 ppm. Proper alkalinity residual in the pool or spa water is necessary to prevent pH bounce/drift and is one of the parameters needed to control scale and corrosion problems on pool surfaces and heat exchangers.
