Directions for Use:

• The pH level must be between 10.2 to 10.8 (2 drops P-1) when using chlorine bleach in the laundry.
• Serious fabric damage will happen at hot water temperatures when the pH level is below 10.2.
• Serious fabric damage will happen at use temperatures above 165°F.

Bleach use titration procedure:

1. Fill the titration vial to the lower line (9ml) with the laundry bleach solution.
2. Add 5 drops each potassium iodide, phosphoric acid and starch indicator.
3. Swirl to mix the solution. It will turn blue if chlorine is present.
4. Add N/20 titrant, mixing between drops, until the blue color disappears.
5. Each drop of N/20 equals 10 ppm available chlorine.

Dilution Rate:

• Light Soil: 2.5-4 gm/load
• Medium Soil: 6-8 gm/load
• Heavy Soil: 11-14 gm/load
• Extra Heavy: 16-21 gm/load

Additional Notes:

• NEVER MIX CHLORINE BLEACH WITH ACIDS. HARMFUL VAPORS WILL BE GIVEN OFF.
• NEVER MIX WITH OXYGEN BLEACH. RAPID GASSING WILL RESULT.
