How To Use

Directions for Use:

  1. Ensure that the area to be polished is free from all topical coatings and soils.
  2. Protect all surrounding surfaces with StoneMedic™ Poly Protector.
  3. Select an area of approximately 40 sq ft (177 sq cm) for the polishing process.
  4. Lightly wet the floor with clean water and place a scoop of StoneMedic™ MPC Marble Polishing Compound in the center of the area to be worked.
  5. Utilizing a red pad, work the StoneMedic™ MPC Marble Polishing Compound over the area with a Mighty Max Floor Machine. The consistency of the slurry should be fluid enough to ensure even coverage. If the slurry becomes too dry, add water as needed.
  6. Once the section is properly polished, wet vacuum the slurry, rinse with clean water and wet vacuum again.
  7. Complete large areas in a checkerboard fashion, overlapping sections to blend.

Additional Notes:

  • If the desired result is not obtained, the stone may be too badly worn and will require the use of StoneMedic™ PPP Pre Polish Powder to smooth the wear patterns before polishing.
  • StoneMedic™ MPC Marble Polishing Compound will have a tendency to settle / separate in storage. Always stir the contents well prior to use and from time to time during use.
  • Replace the bucket lid as soon as possible and ensure that the lid is firmly replaced when stored. If paste has dried out too much, preventing mixing prior to re-use, a small amount of water may be added to facilitate mixing.
